PRIVACY & COOKIES
Short version: we run an enquiry form, we don't set tracking cookies, and we don't sell anything to anyone. The longer version follows because we're legally required to write it down.
If you fill in the enquiry form: your name, email, the service and budget you selected, and whatever you write in the message. Nothing else, and nothing automatically.
Our host records standard server logs — IP address, browser, pages requested — which are kept for a short period for security purposes and are not used to build a profile of you.
To answer you, and to keep a record of the conversation if it becomes a project. That's the only purpose. We do not add enquiry emails to a marketing list — if you want the newsletter you have to ask for it separately.
This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click. Every font is served from our own domain, so reading this page makes no request to anybody else.
Us, and our hosting and email providers as processors. Nobody else. We don't sell, rent or share data with advertisers.
Enquiries that don't become projects are deleted after twelve months. Project correspondence is kept for seven years because Irish company law requires it.
Under GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@baddfrnds.com and we'll do it within thirty days, usually the same week. You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission if we handle it badly.
Anyone appearing in work we produce signs a release stating where the images will run and for how long, and can withdraw before delivery. Minors require a guardian present on set.
